The Photographer
Photographer Lezlie McAllister’s style is non traditional and prefers a more photojournalist approach. She prefers to use soft natural lighting and never “over” edits a photograph. She strives to capture the honesty of real life with a simple goal of portraying life as art. She aims to capture genuine expressions whether that means a soulful stare, a shy smile, or even a temper tantrum. She believes photos should tell a story so when you look back at your photos they take you back to that time and place in your life. As a mother of two she knows how important a persons photos are and how children will be children. Her sessions are never rushed so subjects have time to warm up. Lezlie also has several tricks to help make the session fun for everyone. She would love to talk with you via phone or email so she can help you make your session all you want it to be and more!
A note from Lezlie…
Photography has always been a passion of mine since childhood. After the birth of my first daughter in 2004 the passion for photography grew even more. On July 16, 2010 I finally took a huge leap of faith and started Bellies, Babies & Beyond Photography. I have been blessed to be given this opportunity to pursue my dream job. In all honesty this is not a “job” at all because I love everything about it! I love making new friends and I love working with children. Thank you for considering me to be your photographer I look forward to capturing your families memories!

Lezlie is also a member of the PPA (Professional Photographers Of America), and A registered Birth Photographer with birthphotographers.com. She graduated from TCTC in April of 2011 where is earned her Photography Specialist Certification. She also attends workshops and seminars through out each year to help her keep up to date with the latest trends and style.
Other information…
Lezlie’s most important job is being the Mommy to her two beautiful little girls. So sessions may need to be rescheduled due to her girls needing Mommy, insufficient natural lighting due to weather, sickness or other complications. But rest assure she only reschedules if it is a real necessity.
After your photo session Lezlie hand edits each photograph. During this process she makes minor adjustments and removes any blemishes or boo boos. Turn around time varies but is usually 10-15 days.
